Jaromír Weinberger : A Major Toccata Classics Discovery

Most folk know the Czech composer Jaromír Weinberger (1896–1967) solely through the ‘Polka and Fugue’ from his opera Schwanda the Bagpiper. But detective work by the conductor and saxophonist Tristan Willems has uncovered a huge volume of unknown scores, and Toccata Classics will be recording them as resources permit.
