Exiled Music shows the multifaceted diversity of the modernizing tone
language of instrumental duos in the 20th and 21st century chamber music genre.
The five composers on this CD were politically unwanted, ostracized and
prosecuted, either because of their affiliation with Judaism or their use of new
musical theories and shapes.
The healing power of music can still be experienced, which takes away the
heaviness of the pain and in the process, gives hope for redemption.
