für Ravensbrück - Musik aus Ravensbrück Kulturfeste im Land Brandenburg Ravensbrück, 20 Juillet 2003 The album includes a concert that took place at the former textile factory of the Ravensbrück Memorial Site on July 20, 2003 to commemorate the women of Ravensbrück through works of young female musicians from Lithuania, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Uzbekistan, Greece and Poland, interpreted by young female musicians from Finland, Serbia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Russia and Poland. Songs composed by Ludmilla Peškařová during her imprisonment at Ravensbrück were performed during the second part of the concert in an adaptation by the Slovak composer Jana Kmitova. |
